3-vehicle crash at NB Loop 12 and NW Hwy kills 2, injures 1
DALLAS, TX – Two people died early Saturday morning after a three-vehicle crash involving an alleged DUI driver in northwest Dallas, reports WFAA 8.
The accident occurred around 3:29 a.m. at the intersection of Walton Walker Boulevard and Northwest Highway, which is just east of Las Colinas Country Club.
The circumstances of the collision are still under investigation. Police say that one of the drivers went to the hospital with critical injuries and will face DUI charges upon their release.
The two victims in the crash died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their identities to the public.
Officials closed Walton Walker in the area of the collision for several hours while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
