3-vehicle crash involving semi on Hwy 75 in Denison injures 3
DENISON, TX – Three people were hurt Tuesday in a multi-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler along the highway in northeastern Grayson County, reports KRII 12.
The incident happened on the access road for TX-75 near West Crawford Street in Denison. This is about 75 miles north of Dallas.
Police say that a sedan struck a white Ford car when the latter vehicle was stopped along the access road. This initial collision caused the Ford to rear-end a semi-truck.
Medics airlifted the driver of the Ford to the hospital with critical injuries. A passenger from the Ford was also seriously injured and went to the hospital via ground ambulance.
The truck driver does not appear to have sustained injuries, and the driver of the first vehicle suffered minor injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
