3-year-old pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle in Grand Prairie
GRAND PRAIRIE, TX – A 3-year-old child died early Wednesday evening when a vehicle struck them along a Grand Prairie roadway, reports DFW Scanner.
The incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. in the area of 6300 Mirabella Boulevard, which is just north of Loyd Park and TX-360 Toll Road.
Police say that the child ran into the path of a pickup truck in a private drive. The pickup struck the child, and they died after transport to a local hospital.
Authorities do not expect to bring charges against the driver.
A full investigation is underway.
