MANSFIELD, TX – Crews responded to a rush-hour crash along the highway in Mansfield on Friday evening, reports TxDOT Fort Worth.

The incident happened sometime before 6 p.m. on the southbound side of US-287 at FM 157, which is near Mansfield Town Center.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding injuries, the number of vehicles involved, or the cause of the accident.
Officials closed the southbound lanes of the highway in the area of the crash while police investigated and crews worked to clear the scene. Drivers encountered delays during this time.
