Big rig crashes into ditch on US-80 near Mesquite
TARRANT CO., TX – Major traffic delays were reported near Mesquite on Tuesday afternoon after a semi-truck crashed into a ditch in the median.
According to a report by KRLD Traffic, the incident occurred at about 3:46 p.m. on US-80 near the exit to Lawson Road, just east of Mesquite.

It is unclear what caused the truck to go into the median. However, traffic camera footage from the scene shows both lanes of travel blocked by emergency vehicles, with traffic getting by slowly on the opposite shoulder.
