BMW strikes, kills 2 at crash site on the Dallas North Tollway near Forest Lane
DALLAS, TX – A 24-year-old woman and a 28-year old man died Saturday when a vehicle struck them after a prior crash along the DNT, reports Fox 4 KDFW.
The incident happened just after 2 a.m. on the northbound side of the tollway near Forest Lane, which is west of Whole Foods and south of Lowe’s.
The investigation indicates that Kendralla Baldwin and Nathan Hattox had crashed along the DNT, exited their vehicle, and were standing along the roadway when a BMW hit them.
Both Baldwin and Hattox died from injuries sustained in the accident.
Authorities identified the driver of the BMW as Connor Ehinger. They say he was not hurt in the crash.
Officials closed the roadway for a few hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
