Crash causes lane closures at US-183 EB before Loop 12 in Irving
DALLAS, TX – An early rush hour crash closed several lanes of US-183 in Irving on Friday morning while emergency teams responded to the scene, reports KRLD Traffic.

The incident happened sometime before 6:36 a.m. on the eastbound side of US-183 just before North Walton Walker Boulevard, which is just south of The University of Dallas.
Authorities haven’t yet disclosed the details of the accident, so it’s unclear how many vehicles were involved and if there were injuries.
The collision blocked all but the left lane of US-183 while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene. Motorists likely experienced delays during this time.
