Crews request air med in wrong-way crash at Belt Line and Fairway
COPPELL, TX – Medics ordered an air ambulance following a collision involving a wrong-way driver at a busy intersection in Coppell on Sunday evening, reports DFW Scanner.
Accident w/ Entrapment (Coppell) Battalion 121, Engine 121, Engine 123, Medic 121, Medic 123 are working a major accident with entrapment at E. Belt Line Rd and Fairway Drive. Reported as a wrong-way driver involved. Extrication is in progress. B121 requesting air med on standby.

The incident happened around 7:28 p.m. at the intersection of East Belt Line Road and Fairway Drive, which is just south of the Riverchase Golf Club.
Police have not shared many details regarding the accident. They say that at least one person became entrapped and required extrication after the wrong-way crash.
