Crews respond to possible fatality crash on FM 1187 near Newt Patterson
MANSFIELD, TX – Police report a possible fatality related to a collision along a southeast Tarrant County highway on Wednesday night, reports DFW Scanner.
Major Accident (Tarrant County) Mansfield FD and PD along with Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office are working a major accident on FM 1187 near Newt Patterson Road. Possible fatality. Accident investigators requested to the scene. Avoid this area.

The incident happened sometime before 7:29 p.m. in the area of FM 1187 and Newt Patterson Road, which is northwest of Legacy High School in Mansfield.
Police haven’t shared any details regarding the accident except to disclose the possible fatality. It’s unclear how the crash happened and how many vehicles were involved.
