Driver hurt in Arlington crash on South Center St. dies 2 weeks later

ARLINGTON, TX – Police have disclosed that the 18-year-old driver from a crash that occurred on February 4th in Arlington has died.

Aol reports that the young man died on Saturday at a hospital in Collin County. Authorities identified him as Triston John.

John was driving a Ford Mustang northbound in the area of 4000 South Center Street when he lost control of his car and struck two other vehicles after veering over the median. John’s Mustang ignited upon impact.

A passenger from the Mustang died that same day after transport to a local hospital. The other two drivers were unhurt in the crash.

Police believe that speed may have been a major factor in the collision.
