Emergency crews respond to semi crash on US-287 between Decatur and Rhome
WISE CO., TX – Two 18-wheelers collided on the southbound side of the highway between Decatur and Rhome on Tuesday, causing major damage and an oil spill, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened sometime before 11:31 a.m. on the southbound side of US-287, northeast of Fort Worth in southeast Wise County.
Police say that two semi-trucks were involved in an accident and that one of the two trucks was badly damaged. There’s no word yet on injuries.
Officials closed the southbound side of US-287 while crews investigated and worked to clear the wreckage and the fuel spill.
The investigation is ongoing.
