Emergency teams called to crash on E Loop 820NB at US-287

FORT WORTH, TX – A major collision with entrapment occurred on the interstate near Echo Heights on Sunday evening in Fort Worth, reports DFW Scanner.

Accident w/ Entrapment (Fort Worth) Battalion 1, Engine 24, Quint 24, Rescue 14, Engine 22, FWPD and MedStar EMS are working a major accident with entrapment on northbound East Loop 820 at the 287 interchange. Extrication is in progress. Expect major delays in this area.

The incident happened on the northbound side of East Loop 820 at US-287, which is just west of Lake Arlington.

Police have not yet shared details regarding the cause of the crash. They say that at least one person required extrication and that the collision caused significant traffic delays in the area of the crash.
