EMS called to multi-vehicle crash at US-271 SB and ENE Loop 323
TYLER, TX – Police are investigating an accident that occurred along the highway in northeast Tyler on Wednesday night, reports KLTV 7.
The incident happened at 10:45 p.m. on the southbound side of US-271 at Loop 323. This is southwest of Camp Ford Historical Park.
Police haven’t yet reported on the cause of the accident, but they say that at least two vehicles collided at the intersection. EMS responded to the scene, but there’s no word yet regarding injuries.
Officials asked the public to avoid this part of US-271 while crews worked to attend to the victims and clear the scene. Parts of the roadway remained closed at least as late as midnight.
