Extrication necessary in entrapment accident near I-30 and Sylvan
DALLAS, TX – Emergency crews responded late Thursday night to the scene of a major crash with entrapment just west of downtown Dallas, reports DFW Scanner.
Accident w/ Entrapment (Dallas) Engine 45 has requested Heavy Rescue at the scene of a major accident with extrication on eastbound I30 service road near Sylvan Avenue.

The accident happened sometime before midnight on the eastbound service road for I-30 near Sylvan Avenue, which is northwest of Methodist Dallas Medical Center and west of Kessler Parkway Park.
It’s not yet clear how many vehicles were involved in the collision, nor do we know if anyone required hospitalization. Police say that at least one person became entrapped in the wreckage and required extrication.
Motorists likely experienced lane closures in the area of the accident while EMS and response teams worked to extricate the patient(s) and clear the scene.
