Fatal 2-vehicle crash on Inwood near Lemmon knocks out power
DALLAS, TX – One person died, and another was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that knocked down a power pole near the Dallas Love Field Airport on Sunday.
The incident happened around 10:25 p.m. in the area of 3700 Inwood Road, which is between Lemmon Avenue and Mockingbird Lane and just west of the Dallas North Tollway.
Police have not shared any details about the accident except to say that the two cars knocked down a power pole after crashing into each other, which resulted in power outages in the area.
One person died in the accident. Authorities have not yet released their identity to the public.
Medics transported a second person to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
