Fatalities reported in major Carrollton Crash on I-35E at Sandy
CARROLLTON, TX – Emergency teams responded to the scene of a major accident last Friday along the interstate in Carrollton, reports DFW Scanner.
The incident happened around 8:55 p.m. on the southbound side of I-35E near Sandy Lake Road, which is just east of TOCA Soccer Center Carrollton.
Specific details regarding the circumstances of this crash are not yet available. Officials closed the southbound side of the interstate in the vicinity of the accident while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
Authorities say multiple fatalities resulted from this crash and a truck accident that happened just a few miles up the road during the same time period.
