Fatality reported in collision on I-20 EB near Bankhead Dr in Weatherford
WEATHERFORD, TX – At least one person died early Saturday morning after a major collision along the interstate in Weatherford, reports DFW Scanner.
Fatality Accident (Parker County – Willow Park) Multiple law enforcement are investigating a fatality accident on eastbound I20 near Bankhead Drive. Parker County ESD 1 and PCHD EMS responded to the scene around 4:45am this morning. Expect heavy delays in this area.

The incident happened on the eastbound side of I-20 near Bankhead Drive, which is east of Holland Lake Park and southwest of the Weatherford Fire Department Station #3.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Police haven’t yet shared how many vehicles were involved, nor have they released the name of the deceased.
Officials encouraged motorists to expect delays along I-20 in the vicinity of the crash.
