Fatality reported in crash at N Beach and Rusty Dell in SW Haltom City
HALTOM CITY, TX – At least one person died Friday morning after a major collision at a busy intersection in central Tarrant County, reports WFAA News 8.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of North Beach Street and Rusty Dell Street in southwest Haltom City. This is just about 6 miles northeast of Fort Worth.
Apart from disclosing a fatality, police haven’t yet shared any details about the accident. It’s unclear what caused it, how many vehicles were involved, and if there were additional injuries. Additionally, authorities haven’t released the name of the victim.
Officials closed North Beach Street in the area of the crash while crews worked to clear the wreckage.
