Hit-and-run car strikes, kills woman on ramp from I-45 SB to I-20 EB
DALLAS, TX – Police are searching for the driver of a hit-and-run vehicle that struck and killed a woman Sunday morning in southeast Dallas, reports Fox 4 KDFW.
The accident happened before 7 a.m. on the southbound ramp from I-45, or the Julius Schepps Freeway, to I-20 eastbound. This is just northeast of Wilmer Hutchins High School.
Police say that the victim was walking on the ramp when the car hit her. The driver did not remain at the scene to render aid and speak with police.
Authorities have not yet identified the female pedestrian, nor have they released a description of the hit-and-run vehicle.
