Major injuries reported in crash on US-67 EB near CR-414

KEENE, TX – Emergency crews responded to a major collision along the highway in central Johnson County on Friday night, reports DFW Scanner.

Major Accident (Johnson County, Keene) Keene FD and PD along with AMR are working a major accident on E. Highway 67 near County Road 414. One person with major injuries reported. Avoid this area.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of US-67 near County Road 414, which is just west of the Soil Conservation Service Site 34 Reservoir.

It’s not yet clear what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved. Police say that one person sustained major injuries and encouraged drivers to avoid the area while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
