GRAPEVINE, TX – A 77-year-old man died on Wednesday afternoon in Grapevine after crashing along TX-114 on the northwest corner of DFW International Airport, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. on the westbound side of TX-114 below the Texan Trail Overpass, which is south of Great Wolf Lodge and Water Park.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver left the roadway and crashed into a concrete support pillar after first hitting a guardrail and pole.
