Manuel R. Sandoval Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on State Highway 349 at FM 2051 in Dawson County
Dawson County, TX. (September 3, 2021)- 74-year-old Manuel R. Sandoval was killed in a two-vehicle crash on August 31, 2021 in Dawson County, Texas. The accident occurred shortly after 6:30 a.m. at the State Highway 349 at FM 2051 intersection. DPS reported that the driver of an eastbound unknown vehicle ran a stop sign and collided with a northbound 2013 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Sandoval. Sandoval was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene of the crash. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
