Motorcyclist killed in 3-vehicle hit-and-run in Denton
DENTON, TX – A 19-year-old motorcyclist died on Sunday night in a collision with an SUV and an unknown hit-and run vehicle along a busy roadway in Denton, reports DFW Scanner.
The incident happened at 9:03 p.m. in the Robinson Oaks area on Robinson Road between Green Ivy Road and Wheeler Ridge Drive.
The investigation indicates that an unknown vehicle struck the motorcyclist from behind, causing him to collide with back of an SUV. The initial vehicle left the scene of the accident.
The motorcyclist died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities have not yet released his identity to the public.
