Multi-vehicle crash on I-635 near Preston kills pedestrian in N Dallas
DALLAS, TX – A pedestrian died early Sunday morning after a North Dallas collision involving multiple vehicles along the LBJ Freeway, reports Fox 4 News.
The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of I-635/LBJ and Preston Road, which is just north of the Preston Valley Shopping Center and east of the Galleria Dallas.
Police say the pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene of the multi-vehicle crash. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity to the public.
It’s unclear at this time if anyone else sustained injuries in the crash or required hospitalization.
Officials closed roadways in the vicinity of the accident while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
