One Killed in DUI Crash on Bingle Road in Houston

Houston, TX. (October 14, 2021)- One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on October 9, 2021, in Houston, Texas. The accident occurred around 5:00 p.m. in the 5500 block of Bingle Road. Police reported that the driver of a northbound Dodge Dakota struck a Toyota RAV4. The impact caused the Dodge to travel airborne where it struck a tree before hitting the Toyota for a second time. The passenger in the Dodge was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Dodge was transported to the hospital for treatment. The Dodge driver has been charged with intoxication manslaughter. The Toyota driver and passenger were uninjured in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
