Austin, TX. (September 24, 2021)- One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on September 18, 2021, in Austin, Texas. The accident occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. in the 1400 block of Newfield Lane. Police reported that a Chevrolet was traveling northbound when it struck a southbound electric scooter occupied by the victim. The scooter driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
