Pedestrian struck, killed at Forest Ln & Josey Ln in NW Dallas
DALLAS, TX – One person died early Thursday morning after a vehicle struck them at a busy intersection in northwest Dallas, reports WFAA News 8.
The incident happened at 7:05 a.m. at the intersection of Forest Lane and Josey Lane, which is just northwest of Marcus Park Recreation Center.
Police have not specified if the pedestrian was walking in a designated crosswalk when the crash took place. They say the victim died from their injuries after transport to a local hospital.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene to render aid and talk with officers.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim, nor have they indicated if the driver will be charged.
A full investigation is underway.
