Pedestrian struck, killed by train on W Front near N West
ARLINGTON, TX – One person died Tuesday morning in Arlington after a train struck them just north of the University of Texas at Arlington, reports DFW Scanner.
Pedestrian Struck (Arlington) Arlington FD, PD, and EMS are working a pedestrian struck by a train near the 500 block of W. Front Street. One fatality. Train is stopped in the area – expect delays.

The incident happened sometime before 7:52 a.m. in the area of 500 West Front Street, which is just northwest of the Arlington Museum of Art.
It’s still unclear how the accident happened, but police say that the crash was fatal. Officials have not yet released the identity of the pedestrian.
