Police share details about Arlington pedestrian fatality on Bent Tree

ARLINGTON, TX – Officials have provided additional information regarding a pedestrian accident that killed a 65-year-old woman on Wednesday morning in Arlington.

According to DFW Scanner, the woman died after she was struck by her own vehicle in the area of 2800 Bent Tree Lane, which is just east of Green Oaks Boulevard and south of West Arkansas Lane.

Police say the woman left the vehicle after pulling into a driveway, at which point the vehicle started to roll. The woman tripped while attempting to re-enter the vehicle, and the vehicle ran over the woman. She died from her injuries after transport to a local hospital.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim, but they say she was from Grand Prairie.
