Single-vehicle crash on Walton Walker Blvd in Oak Cliff kills 1
DALLAS, TX – A single-vehicle rollover accident along a busy roadway in the Oak Cliff area of west Dallas killed one person on Sunday night, reports Fox 4 KDFW.
The incident happened somewhere along Walton Walker Boulevard, or TX-12, in west Oak Cliff. The exact time and cross street of the accident are unknown at this time.
The investigation indicates that for unknown reasons, the driver of an SUV lost control of his vehicle and hit a guardrail, at which point the vehicle overturned. The force of the collision ejected the unrestrained driver, and he died after transport to a local hospital.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
A passenger in the front of the SUV was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and did not sustain injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
