Solo crash at W Sublett and Fox Hunt in south Arlington kills 1
ARLINGTON, TX – A 37-year-old man died early in the morning of New Year’s Eve in a single-vehicle accident along a major roadway in south Arlington.
According to DFW Scanner, the accident occurred around 2:04 a.m. on West Sublett Road near Fox Hunt Drive, which is just east of Sublett Creek Linear Park.
Police say the driver crashed into a tree, a concrete pillar, a pole, and multiple fences after leaving the roadway. He died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
No other people were injured in the accident.
Officials believe that speed may have been a primary factor in the collision. A full investigation is underway.
