Solo crash involving pickup truck kills 1 in Grand Prairie

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX – The driver of a pickup truck died on Saturday in Grand Prairie after their vehicle crashed along the interstate just west of TX-161.

According to DFW Scanner, the incident happened around 4:10 a.m. on the eastbound side of IH-30 between Duncan Perry Road and The President George Bush Turnpike.

The investigation thus far indicates that for unknown reasons, a pickup truck hauling a trailer crashed into an attenuator on the highway. The collision killed the driver at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity to the public.

No other injuries have been reported as a result of the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
