Solo crash near SW Loop 820 and McCart Avenue kills driver
FORT WORTH, TX – One person died early Saturday morning after crashing their vehicle into a gas station parking lot in the South Hills area of Fort Worth.
According to DFW Scanner, the incident happened at 2:31 a.m. in a gas station parking lot located in the vicinity of SW Loop 820 and McCart Avenue, which is just southwest of Greenbriar Park.
Police say the driver was speeding westbound at the time of the crash. The collision caused a fire, and the driver died after become entrapped in their vehicle.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
A full investigation is underway.
