Unmarked police car strikes, seriously hurts pedestrian in Dallas

DALLAS, TX – A pedestrian went to the hospital in critical condition Sunday after an unmarked police car struck them along the roadway in central Dallas, reports Fox 4 KDFW.

The incident happened just before 3:30 a.m. just south of Belleview Street on Botham Jean Boulevard, which is just west of the Dallas Police Department.

Authorities have not yet commented on how the crash happened. They say the pedestrian sustained serious injuries and that the police officer driving the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident.
