1 killed when vehicle strikes home and catches fire near McCart and Drew

FORT WORTH, TX – One person died on Thursday night after a vehicle crashed into a house in the Rosemont area of Fort Worth, reports DFW Scanner.

Crews reported to the scene sometime before 9:30 p.m. in the area of 4000 McCart Avenue, which is just west of Unity Park.

Police say the vehicle caught fire after hitting the house. The victim died at the scene of the accident. Authorities have not yet released their identity.

It’s not yet clear what might have caused the accident or if any other vehicles were involved.
