Collision on I-30 WB at Eastchase in Far East Fort Worth kills 1

FORT WORTH, TX – One person died Sunday morning from injuries sustained in an accident along the interstate in the Eastchase area, reports DFW Scanner.

Fatality Accident (Fort Worth) Fort Worth PD is investigating a fatality accident that occurred around 5:45am this morning on westbound I30 at Eastchase. One deceased. All westbound lanes remain closed for investigation.

The incident happened around 5:45 a.m. on the westbound side of I-30 at Eastchase Parkway, which is just southwest of Waterchase Golf Club and northwest of Village Creek Lake.

Police haven’t shared any details regarding the crash except to confirm one fatality and to advise of road closures on the westbound side of the interstate in the area of the accident.
