Fiery solo crash on South Freeway near I-20 critically injures 1
FORT WORTH, TX – A driver sustained serious injuries Wednesday night in Fort Worth after losing control of his vehicle along the service road to the freeway, reports Yahoo! News.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the area of 5700 South Freeway southbound, which is near the junction with SW Loop 820.
The investigation thus far indicates that the southbound vehicle caught fire after travelling onto the median and hitting a bridge support.
Medics transported the driver of the vehicle to a Fort Worth Hospital with critical injuries. No other injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
