Hit-and-run driver hits, kills woman on International Parkway near TX-183
EULESS, TX – A 57-year-old woman died, and another person was hurt last Thursday when a hit-and-run driver hit them along a roadway south of the airport.
According to NBC DFW 5, the incident happened around 8 p.m. on the southbound side of International Parkway near TX-183.
The investigation thus far indicates that the victim’s vehicle became disabled along International Parkway. The victim and one other occupant exited the vehicle and were waiting along the roadway for a tow truck when a Toyota Tundra hit them and fled the scene.
Authorities identified the victim as Susan Simmons.
Simmons’ companion went to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Authorities say they will likely survive.
Police are still looking for the driver of the Toyota Tundra. Anyone with tips or information to share can contact the Fort Worth Police Department.
