Police search for suspects in fatal pedestrian hit-and-run in NE Dallas
DALLAS, TX – A pedestrian died Tuesday afternoon from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run accident at a busy intersection in northeast Dallas.
According to WFAA News 8, the incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. at the intersection of Hemlock Avenue and Melody Lane, which is just east of The Shops at Park Lane.
The investigation thus far indicates that pedestrian was struck during a multi-vehicle collision in the intersection. It’s not yet clear how many vehicles were involved in the accident, but authorities say that two people involved in the crash fled the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
The investigation is ongoing.
