Semi crash involving fuel spill blocks traffic on I-45 SB at US-175
DALLAS, TX – Crews responded to a crash involving an 18-wheeler, road debris, and a fuel spill along the interstate Monday evening in central Dallas, reports the Dallas Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened sometime before 5:28 p.m. on the southbound side of I-45 at US-175, which is just south of St. Philip’s School and Community Center.
Police say that a semi-truck struck debris in the road, which then pierced the truck’s fuel tank and spilled diesel fuel in the roadway.
There’s no word of injuries at this time. Officials closed roads in the vicinity of the accident while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
