Victims of wrong-way crash on FM 51 near Friendship Rd identified

PARKER CO., TX – Police have shared additional details regarding a Parker County crash that killed two adults and two children on Sunday near Weatherford.

According to NBC DFW 5, the incident happened around 2:18 p.m. on FM 51 northbound just south of Friendship Road.

Police say a southbound Subaru Legacy entered the northbound side of FM 51 and crashed head-on into a northbound Ford F-150.

The wrong-way driver, identified as  29-year-old Kathryn Lain, died in the accident.

Medics transported the driver of the Ford, identified as 43-year-old Amber Rae Reed, via air ambulance to the hospital with serious injuries.

Three passengers in Reed’s vehicle died from injuries sustained in the accident. These include two 9-year-old girls and 66-year-old Gregory Daniel Schilb.

A full investigation is underway.
