Wrong-way collision along I-30EB near MM 95 kills 3
GREENVILLE, TX – Three people died late last month in a wrong-way collision along the interstate in southeast Greenville, reports Yahoo! News.
The accident happened around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, November 23rd, near mile marker 95 on the eastbound side of I-30. This is just southwest of the Longhorn Arena and Event Center.
Police say that a westbound vehicle entered the eastbound side of I-30, causing a head-on collision.
The names of the victims have not yet been released to the public, nor have authorities provided any details about what might have caused the driver to veer into oncoming traffic.
Officials closed the eastbound side of I-30 while emergency teams responded to the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
